Studying in "Silence" (Attn. Anyone)

Carrying his books under one arm, Ludwig entered the quiet space with a soft sigh of content. Being a junior was rather relaxing as of late, letting him use all free periods on studying and homework, leaving him with next to no homework, and great test marks. The silence mixed with the warm atmosphere and the bonus of material for any assistance with work let him truck away at the loads of papers from his classes and clubs and hobby. Nodding to the librarian, the blond made his way to his usual seat, relaxing back into it with another sigh, giving a faint smile. He then spread out his papers, before slowly setting them in piles of likeness and time to be spent on them.

Matthew was lost. Again. Luckily he had a free period so it wasn't that big of a problem so he decided to take the most of it as he saw the sign to library. After stepping inside he shared few words with the librarian before he went to look for a book to read. He found one quite soon so he went by the only table he saw and noticed a pleasant surprise which caused him to smile a little. The boy from the morning was there, surrounded by piles of papers. Matthew didn't want to disturb the blond so he started reading as quietly as possible.

Resting on his palm for a few moments, the German furrowed his brows. Only when he heard someone approach did he look up from behind his reading glasses. Grunting in surprise at the sudden company, he straightened. Though, the other busied himself with his book, probably because of the work laid out before the Platinum-haired male. He briefly looked over the slightly frazzled student, he realized he recognized him. Matthew, from earlier. He grunted, then looked down at his work, deciding to get started. Though he did hazard another glance before commenting, "Zhe library is a good vorking enviroment. I suggest taking some time to do studying here." He then kept his eyes on his paper, but let a faint smile shine through, to let Matthew know he wasn't unapproachable, just because he was doing some things.

Matthew glanced at Ludwig when he heard the boy talking. The other's smile caused him smile slightly as well as he nodded.
"Oh... I see. How late is the library open, eh? This looks like a good environment for studying." Matthew turned to his book and added in his mind, 'at least more peaceful than at home.'

Scrawling off an answer, Ludwig hummed quietly, separating his thoughts so he could speak clearly. "It's open until zhree. A bit after zhe school closes." he replied. "It's razher peaceful, unless it's exams and lunch time." he noted, then glanced back down, writing away to finish a few last things in the 'now' pile before shuffling his work over so he had a 'completed' pile at the end.

Matthew nodded. "Good to know. Merci." He smiled slightly and turned the page of the book he had. He was curious to know what Ludwig was doing, but decided to stay quiet since it would have been bad to disturb the other blond. Those papers seemed important.

"Not a problem." Ludwig replied airily, not really focused. Moving onto the 'soon' pile, he worked at them before finally looking up. "If you have somezhing you vant to ask, please do say so." he told Matthew, having caught a few glimpses of his curious face. "I'm just writing, not defusing a bomb." he chuckled softly.

Matthew felt blush rise slightly on his cheeks as he heard Ludwig's words. "Sorry... I didn't know if it's alright, you look like you're so focused, eh..." He looked at the German man with a soft smile. "What are you writing?" He marked the part he had last read with his finger so he was able to focus on the other boy while talking.

Pausing in his writing, he glanced over. "As I said, I'm just writing." He repeated. "So, it's fine." The blond added, just in case he was confused. He decided to set down the writing utensil, disregarding he work for the time being. "Currently? A report due in a few days for English. Essentially, zhough, I'm just finishing any vork. Zhere's zhe finished, due soon, and do later." He explained briefly, gesturing to each as he spoke. "It's best to get zhings done vhile zhey're fresh in your mind. So, erm, vhat are you reading?" Politeness wasn't his thing exactly-neither was talking-, but he'd try for the sake of the other.
