Pulls Matthew closer to him if possible, and steps a bit away from the edge, so Matthew wont be so close to it.
"Calm down...." Strokes Matthew's hair a bit.

Nods slightly, leaning more against Ivan, trembling a bit because of the panic.
"I'm so so glad I bumped to you..."

Hasn't noticed a certain American yet, too focused on the man he's holding onto to keep himself safe from the scary zombies.

Ludwig was walking past an amusement park when he noticed a group of zombies cornering... people? Real people?

He reached for his gun and whistled to get the crowds attention before shooting into the pack. Turning he began to run and heard at least a good amount begin to chase him.

'Why do I always have to do the right thing? And what if they're the kind who sacrifice... no. Why would they be? Focus!' He commanded himself mentally and just missed a kiddy ride in which he flipped over.

Ivan looked at the man that just came there, and got some of the zombies after him.
Now real living people start pouring in...? Not that I would mind... He thought, then grinned a bit. Now the zombie's would be easier to kill, now that there was less of them around them three.

He let go of Matthew, and said with a smile.
"I'll be back, Matvey~" He then kisses the boy's forehead, took his pipe and went down, and pretty much mashed the first zombie's head with his pipe, and then going for the next one and so on~

Nods, sits down on the roof, looking down at the ground and the two fighting men, thinks: Why can't I be brave like them...? I'm lost without my gun...
Sighs. Although he feels pathetic for being so weak, he's really glad that he's not alone anymore.

Ludwig grinned and turned before coming up with an idea. 'Who said that we couldn't use the rides to our advantage?'

Ludwig smirked and ran over to the controls and started tapping away to see if he could get it to work. He frowned before gulping and whipping around. Okay, maybe that wasn't his brightest idea. Better than his brother's, Right? But now... Now it was he that was surrounded.

He started firing before looking for a discarded item to use as a weapon. No way way was using his very small pistol as a blunt weapon. 'But ammo first' he thought as he reloaded with the last cartridge on his belt.

He took care of the zombies around him pretty quickly...
Then he went to where the other was, just to see the other was surrounded.

Ludwig searched the ground before grabbing... a monkey wrench? "Vhen in doubt..." he muttered before shooting the last bullet. He began swinging the wrench like a bat as they got closer.

Getting his pipe ready, then pretty much hitting a head of from one of the zombie's then moving to next one and so on, and he was smiling a bit the whole time.

'He's still smiling?' Ludwig thought worriedly before ducking under one with a baseball slide through it's legs. He gave a quick knock to the back of it's legs as he did and it fell onto a neighbor. He made quick work of another before running through to get out of the corner position.

He took care of some of the zombies, smilng slightly the whole time.

When was it when he had felt so alive the last time? It had been so long. Too long.

Ludwig bashed one's, of the few that were still up, head straight off. 'Just like baseball' he thought morbidly before shaking his head. He jabbed another before standing, back to new man's back. "Not many left. Danke gott(Thank god)." he grinned.

Looks at the battle from the roof, amazed how talented Ivan is at close combat. He's also really interested about the other man who's fighting.

"Now we got someone from Germany as well....? Well isn't this interesting, Да~"
He chuckled a bit.

"How many others?" he asked taking a split second to turn his head to see the tall man, whom he now knew as Russian. 'The Muterland and the Vaterland fighting back to back, side to side... how ironic that we are allied against our own... as well as just about everyone...' he frowned.

"Well there's also one American and one Canadian~ And then there's me, Russian, but I guess you could figure that out already~"

He sighed, but it was somewhat happy and relaxed sigh.

"Have to say.... I haven't felt this alive for a long time... Well after that I came from the war from Afghanistan, but..." He slightly grinned. "Fighting is part my life~"

He then continued to take care of the few zombies that were left.

Ludwig nodded. "Ja." he agreed before running at the nearest one and expertly whacking it off with a very small exclamation of "Fore!"

He chuckled a bit, and kept killing the zombies until there weren't any left.

Ludwig grinned and took a couple deep breaths. "Fun. So, might I enquire a name or codename?" Ludwig asked. He knew how it was. The last group he had been with had known each other's names and had grown attached so when one was infected, soon all except him were. He knew not to grow too attached. But there could be exceptions...

"Well America gave me a 'codename' ; Russia~ But you can call me Ivan though~"

"Ludvig. Good to meet you Ivan. I'm going to assume the other is called Canada by this 'America'?" 'I have a strange feeling he'll call me Germany...' Ludwig thought as he held out a hand for Ivan to shake. Despite it being the appocolypse he still had his training and manners. Unlike others...

"Good to meat you too~" He shook Ludwigs hand firmly.
"And I'm not sure, he just came here~"

"Oh... ja... Vell, I'm assuming we should get high up incase anymore decide meal time might be good now..." Ludwig frowned.

"Да, I agree~" He then leads them back to the roof, where Matthew and America is.

Ludwig looks at it and grins. "Can I climb up?" he asks giddily, acting like a four year old and Canada's wonderland... or a very enthusiastic German who loves a challenge wanting to scale a wall to get to a roof in the middle of a zombie outbreak. Either way he was happy.
